Calm and quiet at 3pm but that doesn't mean we didn't receive stellar service with a smile! And some VERY tasty food! For reasonable prices! Same price for a big Mac gets you a huge plate of katsu, rice, pasta salad, and trust there will be leftovers!!

This is officially my favorite place to order Hawaiian BBQ from, sorry to my go to but they disappointed me the last time I ordered from them. Let me get to it… Look at this Loco Moco. Just look at it. The moment I opened the container, that rich brown gravy was glistening, pooling perfectly over two thick hamburger patties and soaking into the rice underneath. It wasn’t watery. It wasn’t thin. It was smooth, glossy, and generous, the kind of gravy that hugs every bite. The eggs were cooked exactly how they should be, the whites fully set with those lightly golden, crispy edges, and the yolks soft and ready to melt into everything below. Once that yolk breaks and mixes with the gravy and rice? It’s over. That’s the bite right there. The patties weren’t dry. They weren’t burnt. They were thick, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. And the portion? Let’s just say they did not hold back. It was hot, fresh, and ready right on time for pickup. The young lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This wasn’t just food. This was comfort in a container. Five stars without hesitation.

Oh my goodness this place is FIRE. Its delicious AND its so affordable! Spam musubi for under $3 and look at all this katsu??? This is such a good deal, definitely don't sleep on this place. Highly recommend you eat in when it's fresh out of the frier

Couple of things upfront. I wanted to and did, support an AAPI locally owned business, instead of the corporate businesses next door. I liked the simple design of interior and it was cool on a 91F degree day. The younger lady explained what the differences between the healthy plate and the normal mixed BBQ plate are. I ordered the mixed BBQ healthy plate. I was charged the incorrect amount for it. I knew it right away. They didn’t give me a normal receipt, only a receipt for me to sign with tip and total lines. I had to ask separately for a priced and itemized receipt. Mentioning the price difference for what I ordered, I was not assisted in any way. Unfortunately, the first receipt with no itemization or line item priced amount, added insult to injury. I ordered it for stay so I could enjoy the atmosphere. Having been to Hawaii and many Hawaiian fast casual restaurants over the years, I was surprised that there was no music playing. It would have been cool to hear some Hawaiian music, like at other Hawaiian fast casual restaurants. The interior is clean and the food came out hot. I am so happy to find this hidden gem on Marysville Blvd because my friend recommended DQ Hawaiian BBQ & Chicken after he tried it a couple of weeks ago. They just opened not too long ago and have already received many excellent reviews. I have a very delicious dinner here tonight! I am also overeating! Lol The restaurant looks a little dated outside, but the interior is nice and clean. The most important thing is that all the food was so delicious and we enjoyed our dinner. It was a perfect ending with the excellent, yummy desserts! The service is excellent. The owners are very friendly and attentive. We have a fantastic dining experience in DQ Hawaiian BBQ & Chicken. I can’t wait to come back again soon to try more delicious food on their menu.
